Since it released, I have been dying to get my hands on this palette. With the contour craze going on these days, one can never have enough contour products! This palette features 8 powders for highlighting and contouring purposes.
The packaging of the palette is crisp plastic which is quite susceptible to scratches. It is pretty easy to handle and carry despite being a tad bit on the larger side.
The 8 powders are in removable pans of large size, which are easily popped out to replace / interchange. This feature is specially helpful for makeup artists who use the palette regularly and run of product pretty soon.
The powders are easily blend-able, buttery and pretty smooth. The texture is quite velvety / matte and give a nice finish. Although I found 2 of them were a little grainy and course in the pan upon initial usage!
The pigmentation is of really good quality for a drugstore brand, one of the best actually so far. This palette is considered a dupe for the Shade + Light Contour palette by Kat Von D with 2 extra shades. But I feel like every other dupe, it is just a little bit less in quality than the Kat Von D one.
These powders can be worn over anything from BB creams to foundations to even bare face. They are pretty versatile and photograph well either way.
This palette is suitable for lighter to medium skin tones. The deeper skin tones would have some issues for contouring shades being too light for them!
I would definitely recommend! It is one of the most affordable contouring product in the market with such superior quality.
