Dermalogica Age Smart Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque

The Age Smart, Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque aims to help recover skin from daily wear and damage with age. The mask is rich in antioxidants and vitamins A, C, on E and F  which help sooth the mature or prematurely aging skin. The packaging of the mask is simple and minimalistic. The 75 ml tube has a plastic top that is easy to squeeze out the product.

The formula of the mask is thin, but not runny. Without any artificial fragrance and colour, the product still smells nice and has faint yellow colour. It spreads easily and doesn’t require several layers to cover the whole face, which means it will last a very long time.

Step 1: Squeeze out a small amount of product and spread it evenly on the face using your fingers or a face brush. Avoiding the area around the eyes, apply the mask all over the face and on the neck.

Step 2: Let it rest for 10 – 15 minutes (It will not appear to dry out too much, leaving a gel-like appearance)

Step 3: It is advised to wash the face with warm water lightly. But I was struggling to remove the mask completely by just splashing water on my face. So then I dipped a towel in some warm water instead and tried to rub out the mask.

Step 4: Moisturize the cleaned face. I used the ‘Dermalogica Active Moist’ moisturizer.

My skin felt refresh, definitely soothed and cleansed. After a very hectic 48 hours, my face was abused by too much makeup. This mask helped my skin recover and made it more supple, like a fuller look.

I absolutely love this mask. It is simple, refreshing and delivers what it promises. Although you can use it twice a week, it is more suitable for whenever your skin feels tired and needs some recovery time!
